Weekends

I believe there should be three days for the weekend.

Firstly you can get more rest because your not at school all day.

Secondly you can have fun with family and go places with them.

Thirdly teachers have a rest so they can teach more when school is on.

On the other hand you can forget learning and no Monday Mashup.

In conclusion I think you should have three days for the weekend because you can get more rest have fun with family and teachers have rest to.

Zoos should not be banned

I believe that zoos should not be banned. Every animal should be left in the zoo.

Firstly people can see animals at the zoo.

Secondly they get attacked by other animals in the wild. However they do not get attacked in the zoo.

Thirdly they get fed in the zoo. But it is harder to get food in the wild.

For this reason I think that animals should be lifted in the zoo because they get fed they do not get attacked and people can see animals at the zoo.

My art

Keeping Ourselves Safe

Keeping Ourselves Safe

Who?year 6 TWM and Constable Jeff.

What?Keeping Ourselves Safe.

When? 17 September.

Where?big Break out.

Why?Learning about keeping myself safe.

I learnt (5 bullet points)

  • If you’re in trouble go to a good neighbour.
  • It is never the victim’s fault.
  • The Tiger is yellow and the gun is black.
  • If you are in trouble lock yourself in the bathroom.
  • The little glass on Constable Jeff vest is paper spray.

Do you like speaking in big crowds?

Ki-o Rahi

For Monday Mashup we played Ki-o Rahi.

We learnt about the purakau (narrative) of the game and then had a go.

found it easy because  my team was passing the ball around.

I showed Integrity by following the rules of the game.

I showed sportsmanship by passing the ki around.

I recommend playing Ki-o Rahi because it’s a lot of fun.
